A woman lost her life and two men are being held on suspicion of arson in connection with the fire at the tent camp in Mölndal, according to Göteborgs-Posten.

I can confirm that they are being held and that the crime classification is arson, but it may change depending on what the investigation yields, said Vice Prosecutor John Nilsson to the newspaper.

The statement was made before it became known that a person had died after the fire on Thursday.

According to reports, it involves two men in their 40s who have previously been involved in other cases.

The woman who was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after the fire at the camp has died.

Unfortunately, we must announce that the woman has died from her injuries, says Lisa Räng, press spokesperson at Sahlgrenska University Hospital.

The woman's relatives have been informed.

Total of five adult persons were injured in the fire and were taken to hospital. One man was seriously injured. He has been transferred to another hospital for care.

The site is cordoned off for further investigation.
