There will be no Olympic Games this summer for Andreas "Stycket" Nilsson. The handball player is withdrawing due to family reasons. This is stated by the national handball team on their website.
Nilsson says:
"I had really been looking forward to experiencing my third Olympic Games and being part of the fantastic team we have, but family is the most important and I am needed at home right now."
A replacement has been called up to the Swedish squad: 21-year-old Felix Möller.
"To experience an Olympic Games with Sweden is something I hardly dared dream of", he says.
