What: European Championship, women, France–Germany, quarterfinal.

When: Saturday, July 19, 21.00.

Where: St Jakob-Park, Basel.

TV/radio: SVT, Viaplay and Radiosporten.

+ France's desire for revenge

France has impressed during the tournament but still has European Championship ghosts to shake off. Despite several strong generations, the nation has not yet made it all the way in a championship on the women's side. The quarterfinal against Germany will therefore be a major test of value for Laurent Bonadei's team, which has so far outrun every opponent in the tournament.

+ German machine on low gear?

Germany is the tournament's most victorious team with eight European Championship gold medals in their baggage. However, the group stage was somewhat of a disappointment when they finished second behind Sweden. National team coach Christian Wuech has not quite got the game in order and the team needs to find its way back to the well-known German efficiency.

+ Speed and flair on the wings

France will rely on Delphine Cascarino's speed and technique on the right wing, while Germany's Klara Bühl is just as dangerous on the left flank. The duel between these two speedy wingers can be one of the keys to the outcome of the match. Which team gets the best wing play?
