Locally, large amounts can occur in a short time, between five and ten centimeters.
Yellow warning has been issued from 6 pm on Thursday evening. Already during the late afternoon, an area with strong gusts of snow and rain will move into the area. Initially, mostly rain and sleet are expected, but during the evening, it will turn into snow.
Towards Friday morning, it is expected to subside when the area with snow gusts moves further southeast.
The warning applies to the southernmost part of Halland, northern Skåne, and the southwestern part of Kronoberg County, but SMHI emphasizes that there can be large local variations.
