Last week, the US Department of Defense, the Pentagon, announced that the promised arms deliveries to Ukraine had been stopped, following a decision by Defense Minister Pete Hegseth.

But a few days later, Trump announced that the arms deliveries would be resumed, which has now happened, according to Zelenskyj.

According to all reports, the deliveries have been resumed, he says in a video call.

This includes, among other things, robots for the Patriot air defense system, something that Ukraine needs urgently since Russia has intensified its attacks on Ukrainian cities.

Zelenskyj also confirms the information from the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry that the US envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, will come to Kyiv.

Next week, we will continue to work with the American side at the military level, says Zelenskyj.

The Ukrainian president also says that Ukraine is preparing for new military aid packages, including from Europe, and that new sanctions are needed against Russia.

We expect powerful measures in the near future when it comes to sanctions against Russia for this war: the pressure must work.
