The development pointed mainly upwards on the leading Asian stock exchanges in the initial Thursday trading.
The Tokyo Stock Exchange's Nikkei 225 index stood at a plus of 1.1 percent after the lunch break, while the Topix index pointed to a plus of 0.9 percent.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng was simultaneously up 1.5 percent.
Shanghai's composite index was up 0.8 percent.
