Microsoft to Lay Off 9,000 Employees Worldwide

IT giant Microsoft is getting rid of an additional 9,000 employees, or around four percent of the workforce worldwide, reports CNBC.

Wednesday's announcement comes after the group in May announced that around 6,000 employees would be let go.
