It is a stool and a watering can that have become the subject of the legal dispute. Ikea believes that Biltema's actions constitute "a typical example of reputation exploitation" as the respective original products have a unique and well-known appearance, which is strongly associated with Ikea. Biltema's respective copies are "close copies", it says in the lawsuit.

Despite several pressures, Biltema has not stopped selling the products, according to Ikea. Therefore, the furniture giant now claims that Biltema, with a fine of a total of four million kronor, is prohibited from manufacturing, storing, offering and selling the products.

Ikea also claims that the already manufactured products are destroyed and that Biltema should compensate Ikea for the costs of spreading information about the judgment in the media up to an amount of 155,000 kronor.
