The order intake at German factories fell more than expected in November – by 5.4 percent compared to the previous month.

This can be compared to the decline of 0.2 percent that analysts had counted on, according to an average forecast from Bloomberg.

In annual terms, the order intake decreased by 1.7 percent, compared to an expected increase of 3 percent.

In October, the German factory order intake decreased by 1.5 percent.
