The Swedish defense group Saab and aircraft manufacturer Boeing are negotiating with BAE Systems about a cooperation regarding a future replacement for the United Kingdom's training aircraft Hawk, reports Reuters with reference to three people with insight into the matter.
One of the persons states to Reuters that the negotiations are in an early stage and that details must be worked out.
A spokesperson for Saab states to Reuters that the company has a "long-term partnership with Boeing regarding joint development of T-7" and does not want to comment on the information. Neither Boeing nor BAE wants to comment.
