A vehicle belonging to the UN peacekeeping forces in Lebanon has been set on fire in southern Beirut. The vehicle was clearly marked with the UN logo, according to AFP.
The road where the vehicle was burned, between central Beirut and the country's international airport, has been blocked for two days by supporters of the Shia militia Hezbollah, who are protesting against two Iranian planes not being allowed to land.
However, it is not entirely certain how the vehicle caught fire.
The UN force in Lebanon reports that an officer was injured, and demands an immediate investigation into what happened. Lebanon's military promises action against those responsible.
