The Ukrainian presidential adviser Mychajlo Podoljak is urging further international isolation of North Korea and Russia, in connection with Russian President Vladimir Putin's state visit to North Korea.
There is no doubt that North Korea is actively collaborating with Russia in the military sphere today and deliberately providing resources for the mass murder of Ukrainians, says Podoljak.
On Wednesday, it was announced that the countries had agreed to protect each other in the event of an attack, during Putin's visit to Kim Jong-Un's North Korea. What the two states define as an attack remains unclear.
Russia's government has strengthened its contacts with North Korea alongside the ongoing invasion war in Ukraine. North Korea is said to have supplied Russia with weapons, among other things.
The North Korean deliveries are helping Russia to maintain a "high intensity" in the attacks, according to Podoljak.
This has an impact on the course of events in the war as a whole and significantly increases the number of civilian casualties.
