Two flats in the Oxhagen area of Örebro were shot at with several bullets during the night leading up to Sunday.

In one of the flats, where the shots went through the window panes, there were two adults and a child. None of them are believed to have been hit by the shots.

We had a police patrol in the nearby area, so we launched an operation immediately. But later, we found another flat in the same building that had also been shot at, says Mats Öhman at the police to TT.

It is still unclear if anyone was in the flat when it was shot at.

But no one was injured, says Öhman.

The police have not been able to find any link to criminality and the victims.

There is no explanation as to why they were targeted.

A preliminary investigation into attempted murder has been initiated, but so far, no one has been detained.
