In May, the Madrid court announced that Spain's former football chairman Luis Rubiales would be put on trial after giving Jennifer Hermoso a kiss without her consent after the World Championship last year.

A kiss that Hermoso had not given her consent to.

Now, the exact date for the trial has also been set.

The trial against Spain's former football chairman Luis Rubiales is set to begin in February 2025, according to the AFP news agency. It will take place between 3-19 February.

He is being tried for sexual harassment, and previously, the prosecution has requested a one-and-a-half-year prison sentence for the former football chief.

Former national team coach Jorge Vilda, current sports director Albert Luque, and the football federation's marketing director Ruben Rivera are all accused of trying to get Hermoso to say that there was consent.
