Soccer striker Cornelia Kapocs scored 18 goals last year for Linköping and has made five goals in Damallsvenskan this season. Now the Swede is leaving Linköping to play for Super League club Liverpool.
"I'm very happy and proud to be here", says the 24-year-old to the English club's website.
Kapocs was on an outgoing contract with Linköping, but according to the Swedish club, Liverpool has bought out the striker. She was recruited to Linköping ahead of the 2021 season from Uppsala.
Liverpool finished fourth in the Super League last season.
