After a gloomy end on Friday, the Stockholm Stock Exchange started the new week on a plus. The OMXS index closed 1.2 percent up.
Among the most traded stocks on the OMXS30 index, 27 companies out of 30 rose.
The best performer was the cloud service company Sinch, which surged 15.7 percent.
Appliance manufacturer Electrolux and industrial company Atlas Copco were also among the companies that performed strongly. They rose 2.9 and 2.4 percent, respectively.
Against the trend was heat pump manufacturer Nibe, which fell 3.0 percent. Also, Stenbeck's Kinnevik and fashion giant H&M declined on Monday. They fell 0.9 and 0.6 percent, respectively.
The leading European stock exchanges also rose on Monday, but not as much as the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
The stock exchanges in New York opened upwards.
