The plant chain Plantagen has been in reconstruction since August. Now the company writes in a press release that five stores will be closed as part of this.
The company is also closing its office in Solna and reducing its office in Helsingborg. A total of 150 employees in Sweden are expected to be reduced by the end of the year.
The stores being closed are Länna, Ludvika, Råå, Kalmar, and Slagsta.
"This is a tough message for the skilled employees affected by the store closures and reductions. At the same time, this is a necessary step to secure Plantagen's future in Sweden," says the company's CEO Jesper Lien in a comment.
