Japanese car manufacturer Toyota is lowering its profit forecast due to the US import tariffs.
"Due to the effects of American tariffs and other factors, the actual results showed decreased operating result, and the forecast has been revised downwards", the company writes in a comment.
The US introduced 25-percent tariffs on Japanese cars in April. Japan has since written a tariff agreement on tariffs of 15 percent. According to the news agency AFP, there is still confusion about when the car tariffs will be eased.
The stock is falling by just over 1 percent on the Tokyo stock exchange.
