Norway's Finance Minister Jens Stoltenberg is meeting today with the head of Norway's Bank and the CEO of the oil fund in what Norwegian media describes as a crisis meeting. Yesterday, a scandal erupted in the country after it became known that the oil fund had invested in an Israeli fighter plane company.
The head of Norway's Bank Ida Wolden Bache and the oil fund's CEO Nicolai Tangen were met with protests when they arrived at the Ministry of Finance during the afternoon, writes E24.
Yesterday evening, Finance Minister Jens Stoltenberg announced that Norway's Bank and the Norwegian Ethics Council will have 15 days to review the investment.
