This year's Glass Key for best Nordic crime novel goes to Christoffer Carlsson. The winning book "Levande och döda" is described by the jury as "a atmospheric and thought-provoking thriller about friendship, youth and those moments when entire lives change".
Christoffer Carlsson competed with, among others, Anne Holt from Norway and Jens Henrik Jensen from Denmark for the award, which was presented for the 33rd time this year. The prize was established by the Scandinavian Crime Society, but for many years, it has been the Nordic crime societies in each country that jointly present the award.
The last time a Swedish crime novel received the award was in 2021 when Tove Alsterdal's "Rotvälta" was awarded the Glass Key.
