The Cure's keyboardist Roger O'Donnell has been diagnosed with cancer. In a post on X, he reveals that he received the diagnosis of lymph node cancer in September last year.
In the post, he urges others not to ignore symptoms and to get tested early if they suspect something is wrong.
"Cancer can be defeated, and if you're tested early, the chances are even better", he writes.
O'Donnell also writes that his own prognosis is good after a year of treatments:
"I'm doing well, and the prognosis is incredible".
The Cure recently concluded the "Shows of a lost world" tour.
