The boy who was found shot in Arlöv outside Malmö is seriously injured but not life-threateningly injured, according to the police.
A security guard saw the injured boy and raised the alarm on Sunday evening. It turned out that the boy, who is in his 15-year-old age, had been shot at a completely different location – Östra Promenaden in Malmö, near the Court Centre.
Somehow, he has then made his way to Arlöv, says police spokesperson Nils Norling.
The police have been able to talk to the boy, but what was said, Norling does not want to go into. There is no one detained and the police currently have no suspect.
The incident is being investigated as an attempted murder.
We cannot say anything right now regarding connections to the violent incidents we have seen in Malmö recently, but of course, it is so that we will look into possible connections to ongoing conflicts that exist in Malmö and ongoing regional and national conflicts, says Nils Norling.
