The Agency for Total Defence Analysis – which is to review how the Swedish defence manages its tasks – has in an email dispatch leaked 150 names of job seekers who have been rejected, reports Aftonbladet.

It was in connection with the authority appointing a position as communications officer that the leak occurred when the 150 job seekers were informed via email that they had not been selected. All the applicants' contact information was in the email by mistake.

The authority for total defense analysis regrets the incident and states that the incident has been reported to the Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten.

It is a handling error, says department head Joakim Sonnegård to the newspaper.

A person who was on the leaked list calls what happened "clumsy".

But it can actually cause quite a lot of damage if your current employer finds out that you are looking for other jobs. In that way, this is very serious, says the person.
