Now it's clear: The Swedish national team defender Emil Holm is moving to Bologna.
"Holm is here," writes the football club on X.
Emil Holm is thus leaving Atalanta, where he played last season on loan from Spezia, for Bologna. It's the Swede's third Italian club in his career.
In Atalanta, the 24-year-old national team player was among others involved in the club's Europa League win. On his Instagram, Holm thanks the club for his time there:
"Atalanta, thanks for all the memories, I'm really grateful for every moment we shared, your support is unforgettable," he writes.
In the successful team Bologna, Champions League games await in the fall, since the team had a strong start to the season in Serie A and finished fifth.
According to Aftonbladet, Holm has signed a four-year contract, with an additional option year, with the club.
