A Swedish man in his 60s has died in South Korea, reports TV4 News.
The death, which is confirmed by the Foreign Ministry, occurred on December 20.
The man suffered from a severe necrosis, but was denied acute care at 21 different hospitals because they were worried that the man would not be able to pay, reports Euronews, citing local media.
After seven days, an operation was finally performed, but despite its success, the man later died of sepsis.
