The Supreme Court has ruled that a woman who claimed damages after mistreatment in a foster home is not entitled to any money, reports P4 Halland.

This is because the claim is too old and the case has been time-barred.

The woman had claimed 300,000 kronor from her municipality after telling of sexual abuse in the foster home.

The decision means a defeat for over a hundred previously fostered individuals. According to P4 Halland, their plan was to pursue their cases further if the Supreme Court had ruled that the municipalities were liable for damages.
