A man in his 60s died during Saturday after the canoe he was traveling in capsized outside a power station in Hallstahammar.
The rescue service's divers managed to get him out of the water but he was found dead at the hospital, says Emil Eriksson, officer at police region Mitt.
The accident occurred at 13.47 and the other person in the canoe managed to get up on their own.
