Carl Milles statue "Solglitter" which was stolen in Trelleborg earlier in the week may have been found at a scrapyard in Svedala.
The company called the police on Thursday morning to report that they had received suspected stolen goods.
The police currently have no leads on suspected perpetrators.
Another example of the statue, which is available in different versions at several locations in Sweden, was stolen from the hospital area in Gävle earlier this year.
