The supplier Munkagrodden is recalling alfalfa sprouts as they may carry salmonella.

Following a number of cases of salmonella during the autumn, the authorities have traced the source and found a connection between the illness and eating alfalfa sprouts that have been sprouted from a certain seed batch.

"With this knowledge and as the infection cannot be ruled out, Sydgrönt and Munkagrodden are recalling the product from the market. Sprouting from the current seed batch has been stopped", writes Munkagrodden in a press release.

The recalled products are marked with Munkagrodden and Sydgrönt.
