In the week, Spotify came with a quarterly report that exceeded expectations. Since then, the stock has soared on the stock exchange in New York.
According to documents from the US equivalent of the Financial Supervisory Authority (SEC), Spotify's founder and CEO Daniel Ek has since sold shares worth $35.8 million, equivalent to over 390 million kronor.
Over the past 18 months, Daniel Ek has sold Spotify shares for $376.3 million, approximately 4 billion kronor, according to the website Music Business Worldwide.
Earlier in the week, Spotify co-founder Martin Lorentzon sold shares for equivalent to 4.2 billion kronor.
