The three women from Hamas' hostage group who are to be released as early as Sunday will be handed over to the Red Cross, reports Al Jazeera.

The three women are to be released "after 3 pm" according to reports, and they will then be handed over to the International Red Cross to be subsequently taken to a special army unit on the Gaza Strip, according to the Qatar-based media company.

From the Gaza Strip, the women will then be taken to a military base inside Israel for a health examination. Only after that will they be taken to a hospital, where they will also meet their relatives.
