The visitors to the computer game festival Dreamhack are expected to spend a total of approximately 81 million kronor during their time in Stockholm.
This according to figures from the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and the festival organizers themselves.
"It will be a small boost for the economy in the capital and means a welcome addition for many entrepreneurs in the tourism industry", says Carl Bergkvist, chief economist at the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, in a press release.
Dreamhack is being held this year for the first time in Stockholm after Jönköping has been the host city since 2001. The event takes place on 22-24 November at Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö.
