SKF expects continued slow sales

Bearing giant SKF made a profit before tax of 2,014 billion kronor for the fourth quarter, compared to a profit of 1,216 billion kronor for the same period in 2023.

Revenue increased to 24.7 billion kronor, up from 24.4 billion for the same period in 2023.

However, adjusted for a one-time item, operating profit fell, from 2.9 billion to 2.7 billion kronor. And sales decreased organically by three percent. According to the quarterly report, organic sales (in existing business) are expected to continue to decline in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year.

The Board proposes that the dividend to shareholders will be 7.75 kronor per share, 25 öre more than last year.
