Eight people have died in a fire at an elderly home on the outskirts of Serbia's capital Belgrade, according to the police.
Seven more were injured in the fire, which is said to have broken out during the night. Photos show the building's blackened and partially destroyed roof.
About ten people were evacuated.
This is a great tragedy, but it could have ended much worse, says police officer Luka Causic.
