No one has been arrested in the case, according to the police.
We are looking at the motive and what the reason may be for this particular residence being subjected to the shooting, says the police's press spokesperson Anders Bryngelsson.
The alarm about the incident came at half past two in the night towards Saturday. Several people reported hearing bangs and after a while, the police were able to establish that someone had shot at the door of a row house and a car nearby.
The police launched a comprehensive operation in the area, says Ola Österling, press spokesperson for the police. Both a helicopter and police dogs were used in the search.
There were people in the residence at the time of the shooting, but no report has been received of anyone being injured.
The police carried out identity checks on cars stopped in Tyresö and Haninge. The area around the row house where the shooting took place was cordoned off and forensic technicians conducted a crime scene investigation.
In addition to suspicions of attempted murder, gross weapons violations are also being investigated.
