For the first time, a Swedish rower has qualified for the Paralympics. It is Ebba Einarsson who has been awarded a spot by the International Rowing Federation to the Paralympics in Paris, which starts on August 28. It is her third place at the OS and Paralympics qualification in Lucerne in May that earned her the spot.
"It is the first time we have a Swedish rower at a Paralympics and we are incredibly proud that Ebba gets this opportunity", says Charlotte Andersson, chairman of the Swedish Rowing Federation, in a press release.
