During the years 2013-2024, 55 teacher licenses have been revoked. In 30 of these cases, the reason was that the teacher had some form of sexual contact with a student or a child, reports SVT News Skåne.
In most of these cases, it has been about sexual harassment, but in some cases, rape.
It's obviously extremely serious. It's a given that children have a special protection value because they are children, says Eva Frånlund Althin, chairman of the Teachers' Responsibility Committee, to SVT.
