A security zone is being introduced in parts of Södertälje after the murder on Tuesday morning, the police write on their website.
The security zone, which will apply in Västra Blombacka and parts of Geneta, will be in effect from Saturday, July 6, to Friday, July 19.
The decision means that the police will have a higher presence than usual and will carry out more preventive checks, such as body searches and vehicle searches.
In June, a security zone was established in the Hageby district of Norrköping, which lasted for two weeks. It was the first time in Sweden.
It was early on Tuesday morning that a man was found seriously shot in the Blombacka area of Södertälje. He later died of his injuries. A person who had been detained on reasonable suspicion of aiding and abetting the murder was released on Thursday. Another person, under 15 years old, is still suspected of involvement in the murder.
