A man has died in a drowning accident in Årjängs kommun, writes NWT.
At 19 o'clock on Saturday evening, police, ambulance and rescue services were alerted to a lake where a man was found in the water. Shortly after 8 o'clock, the police announced that the man had died.
It's about a man in his 80s. He was found in the water right next to a jetty, says Krister Davidsson, incident manager at the rescue service in Årjäng to the newspaper.
Relatives have been notified.
