SD Top Wants to See L in Government in 2026

I think it's most likely that we form a coalition government, all four of us. From my perspective, it seems like the most likely and the best option. It would give the most effective government, says Vinge.

The Liberals have so far firmly closed that door – they don't intend to sit in government with the SD.

At the same time, the SD party leader Jimmie Åkesson says he doesn't intend to continue as a support party after the next election. In that case, the SD would rather go into opposition, according to Åkesson.

Do you think the Liberals will change their minds?

Yes, I think so, says Henrik Vinge.

If voters continue to want a change in migration and criminal policy, then the four parties, according to Vinge, will have to take responsibility – and can't say "no, nothing came of it."

I think it's most likely that we form a coalition government, all four of us.

He also says that the cooperation with the government, where the Liberals, the Christian Democrats, and The Moderate Party are included, has worked excellently so far and has exceeded his expectations.

I thought we would be significantly closer to a government crisis several times.
