The teenager, who lived in a HVB home, came into contact with the client via the encrypted app Signal. The task was to shoot six people in Malmö's underworld, writes Sydsvenskan.

In early March, the 17-year-old deviated when he was to visit his parental home. After being armed with a pistol, he set out to hunt for the people on the list. Five days later, he went to a villa area in Malmö to murder a multiply convicted Malmö resident.

The man and a woman came out of the residence and confronted him. The 17-year-old then tried to shoot the man but instead hit the woman in the hip. He then hid in a villa garden where he was arrested a few hours later.

The district court convicts the 17-year-old of two cases of attempted murder, serious weapons crime and preparation for murder against the other five people. If he had been of age, he would have been sentenced to 16 years in prison. The sentence is now three and a half years of closed youth care and 477,420 kronor in damages.
