The actor Christina Schollin and the author and artist Jonas Gardell are awarded the Illis quorum medal by the government, announces Minister of Culture Parisa Liljestrand (M).
"It is a great joy for me as Minister of Culture to announce that some of the government's finest awards are being given to two cultural creators who have meant so much for the Swedish cultural offerings", she says in a press release.
The medal is one of the government's finest awards and is given to individuals who have made outstanding contributions for cultural, scientific and other public-benefit purposes.
