On the route Sundvall-Timrå Airport and Stockholm, it's about three to four departures per day being cancelled during weekdays.

This is a real setback for us who had counted on a better year, says Frank Olofsson, airport manager to Sundsvalls Tidning.

The reason is that a shortage of aircraft has arisen when the airline Bra and SAS have merged.

The company Xfly, which operates the flights for SAS, is using a clause in the agreement that means they will stop flying already in November. This means that SAS will have a shortage of planes until the end of the year when Bra takes over the traffic, according to SVT Nyheter Västernorrland.

This will hit many airports hard and we are one of them who will get severely affected, says Frank Olofsson to the newspaper.
