Hammarby strengthens its women's team with Japanese national team player Asato Miyagawa.
At the same time, Julia Roddar leaves the reigning Swedish champion, according to SVT, for Kosovare Asllani's new club London City Lionesses.
"I'm very happy to come to a club with such a fine history in Sweden. I look forward to playing in front of all the supporters", says Asato Miyagawa to the club's website.
The 26-year-old comes from Tokyo club Verdy Beleza, which finished third in the Japanese league this season. She has 26 A-international matches on her merit list, played in the 2021 home Olympics and has signed a contract for two and a half years.
"I have a very good feeling that she will contribute to an even better Hammarby", says sports manager Johan Lager.
One in, one out. Midfielder Julia Roddar leaves Hammarby at the same time for a "foreign club".
"My time in 'Bajen' has been absolutely fantastic. I've got to celebrate two titles with our incredible fans who have traveled all over Sweden for us and I love them with all my heart", says Roddar.
The 32-year-old joined Hammarby before last season, resulting in two titles with the club.
"We will miss Julia, but are at the same time happy for her sake that she gets this opportunity and wish her good luck", says Johan Lager.
According to information from SVT, it is the English club London City Lionesses that has bought out Roddar from Hammarby and will present the Swede shortly.
Recently, big-spending London City finalized the deal with Swedish national team midfielder Kosovare Asllani.
Hammarby is third in the women's league, behind Häcken and Rosengård, after 14 matches.
