The Stockholm Stock Exchange was sideways in the waves from the report flood from the major companies. AB Volvo, Volvo Cars, and Getinge were the locomotives after strong messages.
But reporting ABB and SKF fell hard.
The OMXS index closed unchanged.
Among the index heavyweights, truck giant AB Volvo presented an unexpectedly high profit, thanks to price increases, for the second quarter. The share rose 5.9 percent.
Car manufacturer Volvo Cars did even better, up 11.0 percent, in its interim report.
At the same time, medical technology company Getinge offered a real report firework with good hits on most lines in the tables. The share soared 10.7 percent upwards. Good among the heavier reporting companies was also Essity, up 4.7 percent.
But for bearing manufacturer SKF, the second quarter was somewhat worse than expected, which lowered the share 4.1 percent.
The automation group ABB's quarterly report is characterized by decreased order intake. On the stock exchange, it's thumbs down: minus 5.2 percent.
