The Stockholm stock exchange starts the trading week downward after the attempted murder of USA's former president Donald Trump over the weekend.
Only four of the most traded shares in the OMXS30 index ended on a plus.
The broad OMX index fell by 1.0 percent, in line with leading European stock exchanges.
The attempted murder of Trump at a campaign meeting in Pennsylvania over the weekend and unexpectedly weak growth figures from China spread concern among investors in Asia on Monday morning. However, there are no major price movements on either stock exchanges or currencies so far.
The Helsinki-based major bank Nordea's share fell by 3.3 percent after an interim report for the second quarter of the year. The net interest income increased, but not quite as much as analysts had hoped for on average.
Cloud service company Sinch dropped by 5.0 percent, and heat pump manufacturer Nibe also fell, by 3.3 percent.
It went better for defense group Saab, which rose by 0.2 percent, and telecom company Telia, which increased by 0.6 percent.
The reporting season on the Stockholm stock exchange got underway in earnest last week, with telecom equipment manufacturer Ericsson's figures. The peak of the flow of figures from the largest listed companies will come at the end of the week.
