In California, a massive forest fire is raging, still not under control, despite more than 3,700 people, a dozen helicopters, and several firefighting aircraft being involved in the extinguishing work.
The fire is spreading at high speed since it started on Wednesday and now covers an area of 1,420 square kilometers, forcing thousands of people to flee their homes.
According to statistics from the state's rescue service authority, Cal Fire, the fire is now the seventh largest in California's history, reports NBC News.
