In May last year, three young people died in a car accident outside Kimstad in Östergötland. Now, the man in his 20s who drove the car is being sentenced for, among other things, gross negligence leading to another's death, writes Norrköpings Tidningar.
The driver is being sentenced to three months in prison for gross negligence leading to another's death in three cases and two cases of gross negligence in traffic. Personal circumstances, that the man is previously unpunished and his age have been taken into account in the district court's assessment of the prison sentence.
According to interrogations, witness statements, and written evidence presented during the trial, it has emerged that the speed was 140 kilometers per hour before the car went off the road and caused the death of three young people.
