There is reason to perform certain supplementary investigative measures and they are being carried out within the framework of the supplementary preliminary investigation. Therefore, the preliminary investigation has been resumed, says Chief Prosecutor Per Lindqvist at the National Unit for Security Cases to Dagens Nyheter.
Landerholm was charged on Tuesday for gross negligence with confidential information after leaving classified documents at a conference center. The same day, Säpo's preliminary investigation in the matter was concluded. But just one day later, on Wednesday, the preliminary investigation was resumed, according to a document from the Prosecution Authority.
According to the Chief Prosecutor, it concerns investigative measures to gather additional evidence.
The trial is scheduled to begin in May.
