The police have interrupted a pro-Palestinian demonstration at the library on Stockholm University. About ten people were carried out after refusing to leave on police orders.

One of those who were removed was climate activist Greta Thunberg, as shown by pictures she posted on Instagram, reports Expressen.

The police received the alarm at 12:52. The demonstrators had set up tents inside the library, which was perceived as disturbing by the staff, who asked them to demonstrate outside instead.

At 14:15, the police began carrying out the demonstrators who had not left voluntarily. According to Stockholm police's Mats Eriksson, the eviction went smoothly.

Nine people are suspected of disobedience to authority. One person has been arrested as they refused to provide their identity, says Mats Eriksson.
